On 17 February 2026 Infosys announced an AI-First Value Framework built around its Infosys Topaz suite. The company says it is positioned to address an incremental AI-first services opportunity of USD 300–400 billion by 2030, a figure it attributes to a Nasscom–McKinsey report.

The strategy has two parts. The first is to capture new demand for AI-first services across six value pools. The second is to augment existing services with AI so that clients get more from work they already buy. Infosys says it has developed more than 30 new service offerings across the six value pools.

Delivery is anchored on Infosys Topaz Fabric, which the company describes as a purpose-built, composable and open agentic services suite, combined with collaborations with AI specialist firms. Infosys reports that it is working with 90 percent of its top 200 clients on their AI journeys, with more than 4,600 AI projects underway.

What this signals

  • Large providers are framing AI as new demand, not just a productivity tool for existing contracts.
  • Market-size figures like this are third-party estimates for a whole industry, not a forecast for any single company.
  • For buyers, the practical question is which of these value pools matches a real business problem — and how the work will be governed.
